We were commissioned to provide a bespoke rainwater harvesting solution for a football club who were looking to conserve water on their stand refurbishment project. After realising the facility would be ideal for rainwater harvesting due to its large roof area and high water usage, the client contacted us to see if we could propose a solution.

Our team of estimators worked with the client and visited the site prior to installation to ensure all site requirements had been met. The team specified that our popular non-pressurised system would be best suited to provide a sustainable water supply to the automatic irrigation system. Using an above ground storage tank, we helped to keep construction costs low by eliminating the need for costly ground works.

Having realised the value of rainwater harvesting since commissioning in 2019, the site has committed to reaping the benefits of rainwater harvesting for the long term by continued investment in pre-planned maintenance. On our latest service visit, our engineer discovered that site had recycled 930,000 litres of rainwater to irrigate football pitch in just 3 years.
