In the past 20 years, we have proven that we never want to stand still. Whilst our guiding vision to provide safe, sustainable water supplies for all has not changed in the past two decades, our water saving systems have continued to innovate, and our amazing team has expanded dramatically too. We are proud of the journey we have been on, and that is why we are using this article to share some recent developments in our business.

Office Expansion

Stormsaver have operated out of a two-acre facility in the heart of the Nottinghamshire countryside since 2014. This is where our office team are based, and our manufacturing facility is located. The converted barn building was designed to be highly sustainable with 250 solar panels on the roof of our production facility to power our offices, as well as (how could we not include this) a rainwater harvesting system which collects rainwater from the roof to flush our toilets.

We are delighted to share that we have just expanded into an additional three office units on our two-acre site. The new offices have allowed us to make some important changes within our team, allowing us to grow further and share knowledge throughout the business.

Previously our maintenance and commercial sales teams sat separately, but now these two teams have integrated to help us achieve our goal of saving water as possible for our customers. The team is headed up by our recently promoted Sales Director, Julian Diprose. Julian is also joined by Georgia Darby, our Senior Sales Executive who has recently taken on a senior leadership role to drive our maintenance effort. Georgia will look after our key account customers and take a leading role in saving more water than ever before. Congratulations, Georgia.

New Operations Team

As well as merging the two sales divisions, we have also created a dedicated operations team who will ensure we deliver our products and services to the highest of standards. We are delighted to share that Liz McCarthy has been promoted into the role of Operations Manager and will head up this team. Liz started as a maintenance sales consultant over seven years ago and has continued to progress through the Stormsaver ranks ever since.

Team Expansion

As our offices grow, so does our team! We are delighted to be a team of 40. This reinforces our position as the largest independent water reuse specialists in the UK. Our early careers programme has expanded significantly in the past two months too with the addition of two new apprentice positions in engineering and manufacturing. Our existing apprentice engineer, Connor has progressed through his course, enabling us to increase our number of service engineer’s and response times to our clients.

This month we are joined by Zak, our Product Design Placement Student who has taken over the reins from Luke as he heads back to University to embark on his final year studies. Luke will be re-joining our team upon completion of his degree from Nottingham Trent University. Matt, our Marketing Executive has also re-joined our team on a permanent basis after graduating with a first-class degree in business management and marketing.
