Assembly Technician

- Starting salary of £30,000 per annum for a Level 3 qualified candidate with relevant programming experience, rising to £32,000 following completion of 6 months sucessful service.

Key Responsibilities – Here’s what you’ll be up to
- Assemble electrical control panels and PLC systems.
- Build plumbing systems within control panels.
- Assemble mechanical and electrical equipment to a high standard.
- Use hand tools safely and correctly.
- Test and inspect equipment before dispatch.
- Prepare and pack products for delivery.
- Work to production schedules and project deadlines.
- Communicate progress and timescales with the project team.
- Maintain exceptional quality standards throughout production.
- Complete manufacturing paperwork accurately.
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
- Keep the workshop clean, organised and safe.
- Load and unload deliveries safely, including forklift operation where required.
- Receive, check and store incoming stock and materials.
- Monitor stock levels and support inventory management.
- Maintain accurate records and update CRM systems.
- Assist with PLC programming and configuration.
- Support engineers with technical and programming queries.
- Collaborate with colleagues across production, engineering and sales.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, research and development, and uphold Stormsaver’s values in everything you do.
