Drive-Thru Restaurant, Market Drayton

This leading food and beverage operator had ambitious plans for their latest restaurant to be the blueprint for all future builds in the UK. The new restaurant was designed to achieve Net Zero Certification through incorporating highly sustainable technologies.

The new restaurant is complete with a biodiversity garden, cladding made of recycled materials, solar PV for energy generation and rainwater harvesting. As well as minimising local impact, the new location has also supported 80 new jobs in the local community.

A key challenge faced by our Design Team was on site space constraints and the wish to ensure zero surface water runoff from the site. Despite these challenges, Stormsaver were able to supply a high-quality rainwater harvesting system for toilet flushing and irrigation of the biodiversity garden.

We were able to provide our highly reliable non-pressurised system with our automatic backwash filtration control unit. This approach reduced footprint requirements and offered a low-maintenance solution to filter rainwater. We also supplied a bespoke digital monitoring unit which was tailored to the client’s branding specifications.
