Our Vision
A water secure future through water reuse
This is what we envisage happening if our work is successful. It is a statement that reflects the impact that we want our business to have. We are a business that designs, manufactures and maintains water reuse systems. Our vision is that we can help make the water deficit of 5,000 mega litres a day by 2050, a thing of the past.

Our History
A journey of passion, reliability and a commitment to saving water since 2003
Michael Farnsworth pioneers a Water Reuse System at University
During his final year studies at Nottingham Trent University, Michael created an innovative system to turn river water from the River Trent to drinking water standard. Michael then evolved this into a roof rainwater collection system.
1997 • Journey Beginning
Michael joins forces with Lisa Craven after a Press Release attracts over 300 enquiries
Having picked up on Michael's innovative rainwater collection system, the Nottingham Post published a story which generated 300 enquiries for his system. Michael called on the support of his close university friend, Lisa Craven to help answer all the enquiries.
1998 • Early Success
Stormsaver Ltd is born
After refining their skills in the business world, Michael and Lisa establish Stormsaver Ltd working out of Michael's mum's spare room and coal shed to sell and build systems.
2003 • Establishment
The Combi Express is launched
Stormsaver launches the highly innovative "combi" arrangement to the UK marketplace. This built upon the success of the two traditional ways of achieving rainwater harvesting by incorporating the best of both system types for the first time. The "Combi" rapidly grew into the UK's most popular system type.
2005 • Early Product Innovation
Stormsaver makes significant investment in new sustainable HQ
Having rapidly grown in turnover and team members, Michael and Lisa embarked on the search for a new HQ. They came a cross a derelict farm in the heart of the Nottinghamshire countryside and developed it into a highly sustainable office and manufacturing complex.
2012 • New Sustainable HQ
The StormStation is launched
Having realised the gap in the market for an easy-to-install, modular rainwater reuse solution, Stormsaver's design team engineered The StormStation. This offered a plug and play system for the first time.
2017 • Modular System Launch
