Nottingham Trent University Placement Student scoops permanent position with Stormsaver
We are thrilled to share that after ten months of hard work, Luke, our product design placement student has been offered a permanent position upon graduation of his studies. Luke is currently on a years’ student placement with within our design team from Nottingham Trent University where he has been studying towards his BSc Product Design Degree.
Since joining, Luke has played an instrumental part in our team. His knowledge, creativity and desire for perfection has not gone unnoticed. His work has involved creating renders for our systems, and even working on our all-new greywater recycling system mock-ups. Luke has also had opportunities to manufacture our products, visit our customer sites across the UK, and visit one of our suppliers in Italy. It is fair to say that Luke has taken advantage of each opportunity given to him and used them to further his knowledge of the design world. His cheeky smile and can-do attitude will certainly be missed upon his return to university for his final year studies.
We look forward to him re-joining our team upon completion of his studies. On behalf of everyone here at Stormsaver, we would like to congratulate Luke on this outstanding achievement and wish him all the best as he transitions into his final year studies.
Michael Farnsworth, our CEO and Luke’s line manager commented “It is a great honour to be offering Luke this opportunity within our team. Luke has proved himself as a first-class product design student who I am sure will go onto achieve great things in his final year at university. It is great to be continuing our support for our local university who helped myself and Lisa Farnsworth to kickstart our early careers all of them years ago”.
