12 month system warranty
12 month system warranty

All Stormsaver systems come with a 12 month warranty from date of commissioning.

The term ‘combi’ simply refers to the type of control panel within the rainwater harvesting system.

Just like any other system, rainwater from the surface of the roof area is channelled into roof drainage points and into a central above or below-ground storage tank.

Prior to entering the main storage tank, rainwater is filtered through a pre-tank mesh filter arrangement to remove larger debris from the supply of rainwater. Rainwater enters the tank via an inlet calmer to prevent disruption of fine sediment on the base of the tank.

Submersible pumps transport the water to the Combi Control Panel. Here, the rainwater enters the internal break tank. This is where the automatic mains water top is located should the site experience a prolonged dry spell.

Recycled rainwater is then boosted to points of use around the building.

Features and Benefits of our Combi Rainwater Harvesting System

Variety of capacities – the Stormsaver combi is a firm favourite amongst M&E contractors as the unit is supplied in 225, 400, 620 litre capacities. This capacity refers to the internal break tank. Our team will advised the most appropriate solution to the total water demand of your site.

Internal break tank – not only does an internal break tank assist with ease of installation, it can also continue to provide a water supply in the unlikely event of a disruption of supply from the main storage tank. This minimises downtime for the end user ensuring they always have water when they need it.

Type AB air gap – Unlike alternatives, the Stormsaver Combi is supplied with a AB air gap with ingress protection. This minimises health risks for building users by preventing insects or rodents from entering the rainwater harvesting system.

Integrated twin booster set – our high-quality twin booster set can be easily replaced when the pumps are at the end of their life. On other supplier systems, the whole control unit would need to be drained to replace an individual pump. The Stormsaver Combi incorporates individual shut off valves to speed up pump replacements and down time for the user.

GRP Construction – The Stormsaver Combi is supplied as GRP unit rather than a steel housing. GRP (glass-reinforced plastic) helps to prolong the lifespan of the system by eliminating the risk of rust corrosion. Alternative systems are also supplied with internal plastic break tanks which cannot be repaired.

UK Manufactuered – Stormsaver is the only manufacturer of commercial rainwater harvesting systems in the UK. Other commercial systems are supplied from a third-party manufacturer Europe. Our maintenance customers with these alternative systems are currently experiencing a 14-week lead time for replacement parts from Europe which increases system down time for the end user.

PLC electrical controller – The Stormsaver Combi is supplied with a PLC electrical controller where individual relays can be replaced in the event of a failure. Alternatives are supplied with PCB boards which are susceptible to failure from condensation ingress and require complete replacement should a component within fail.

Automatic Backwash – The Stormsaver Combi can be supplied with our unique automatic backwashing filter which eliminates the requirement for physical filter replacements by the end user.
