As the UK’s leading rainwater harvesting specialists, we are delighted to be at the forefront of change and innovation. Each day, our work helps to create a more sustainable future for all by contributing towards reduced reliance on drinking water supplies. At the heart of our sustainability agenda is a collective of women who continue to drive our message and our business forward. That is why our team at Stormsaver are proud to be celebrating International Women’s Day 2022!
Tackling global climate change and creating more diversity and inclusion within our society is a no small task. From the outset, we have demonstrated women can be powerful leaders and create change. Our co-founder and Managing Director, Lisa Farnsworth, has developed Stormsaver into a thriving business of 30 team members who work to ensure we save thousands of litres of drinking water each year. Dedicating much of her working life to the construction industry, Lisa has often found herself working with a male-orientated client base.
According to Go Construct, only 14% of the construction workforce are women. Although this figure is increasing, there is still a long way to go. Stormsaver are proud to be leading change within the sector with 50% of women making up our workforce.
