Monsoon® is a fully automated control and operating system for domestic rainwater harvesting.
How does it work?
Well, its simple really.. our Monsoon® system takes rainwater from the roof area of your property down the normal gutters (which should be sealed to prevent debris entering the tank) through a pre tank filter and then into a water storage tank, which is installed underground and surrounded in concrete.
The rainwater is then stored in the tank until called for by the control unit within your home. The control unit houses a pump which brings the rainwater through the filtration and direct to the appliances.
During periods of low rainfall, a sensor in the storage tank activates a valve within the Monsoon® system control unit, switching from rainwater to mains water. Mains water is supplied to the Monsoon® control unit via an automatic refill unit compliant with the Water Supply (Fittings) Regulations 1999.
The Monsoon® system control unit activates on demand to supply a clean clear and odourless supply of water to appliances such as toilets, washing machines and outside taps.
