Run by husband and wife team, Lisa and Michael Farnsworth, Stormsaver was created as part of an ambitious plan to develop a sustainable and eco-friendly approach to the growing water supply problems in the UK.
Based in the Nottinghamshire countryside, Stormsaver creates and develops innovative and state-of-the-art rainwater harvesting solutions to help businesses and individuals recycle rainwater and reduce utility costs, whilst helping the environment.
Stormsaver has received many accolades for its pioneering work in the sustainable construction sector. These include being finalists in the Innovation category of the National Business Awards in 2009, finalists in the Midlands Excellence Awards 2009 and in 2007 being selected as Nottinghamshire’s Most Innovative Business.
The Farnsworths are committed to innovation in sustainable technologies and, as such, have donated a rainwater harvesting system to the Creative Homes Energy Project at the University of Nottingham, to help in pioneering research into creating low cost, zero carbon homes.
The company has a product range that continues to grow and develop in order to meet customer needs. As the demand for affordable, sustainable technologies with excellent environmental credentials increases, Stormsaver continues to innovate and lead the industry towards excellence in sustainability.
Being incredibly passionate about their love for the environment, Lisa and Michael have recently installed one of their own rainwater harvesting systems in their home, helping them to save approximately 50-80% of their water utility bills.
Stormsaver also place a high emphasis on educating the next generation of the need to be sustainable and take pride in offering an education pack which is now taught in classrooms across the country.
The couple have hand picked dedicated and committed staff members from the local area to create a team of experts in rainwater harvesting. This team has an excellent track record for customer service and are active in raising money for Charity.
The Farnsworth’s have developed Stormsaver from a small start-up business in 2003 into the UK’s leading rainwater harvesting specialist, which regularly works with the UK’s top 150 construction companies and whose systems can be found in homes and businesses across the UK.
