“We installed the Stormsaver domestic rainwater harvesting system 8 years ago. The savings on our mains water consumption have been amazing. We are a 4 person household, with 2 kids so lots of baths and clothes washing! We use around 56m3 of mains water a year the same as an average single person household without rainwater harvesting. Our systems provides rainwater for toilets, laundry and irrigation and has reduced our water bill over £200 a year. I specialise in designing and building low energy housing and it is important that I not only research the best available products, but actual experience using them. The Stormsaver system has been simple to install and maintain with very good after market care, I will be using their product again.”
The Stormsaver rainwater harvesting system is an accredited part of the Enhanced Capital Allowance (ECA) scheme.
This means Stormsavers private clients can offset up to 100% of the taxable cost of the system against their tax bill at the end of the year*.
Our clients may also be able to claim back the cost of installation and hire of specialist equipment to install the system.
This makes rainwater harvesting an attractive option for large companies to invest in rainwater harvesting with not only the promise of fantastic savings on their water bill, but the opportunity to reduce their tax bill too.
Stormsaver was commended for the high standard of its application for accreditation and continues to add new products from its range year on year.
This fantastic scheme provides a huge incentive for the construction industry to incorporate, as standard, the Stormsaver rainwater harvesting system. The Government is trying to ensure that rainwater recovery systems are an integral part of building specifications as water conservation has a vital role to play in the future of new-build construction.
